How To Control Fat

How to control fat is a question that is asked my thousands of people from most nations throught the world. There are many diets and many more exercise programs that all claim to be successful in the in answering that question “how to control fat”

Let’s look at the very popular and successful acai berry diet…

In recent years the acai berry diet has quickly become the most popular diet in the world, while the acai berry itself has become the most popular antioxidant diet supplement in world. Combined with a colon cleanser, a sensible diet, and a moderate exercise routine, the acai berry can help you lose fat faster than you ever thought possible.

Things YOU NEED to know…

What are Acai Berries?

Acai berries – acai is pronounced ‘a-sigh-ee’ – are small, black, and round, and they resemble small grapes. There is not much acai fruit on each individual berry. Rather, each acai berry has a large seed that is surrounded by a small amount of pulp.

Harvesting. When harvesting the acai berries, harvesters must remove the pulp from the outside of the berry, and process it immediately into an acai product or flash freeze it for shipping to a manufacturing facility. The acai fruit will spoil if left unprocessed for several days.

Acai Products. The fruit from the acai berry is often used in a variety of dietary supplements, healthy foods, ice cream, sorbet, juices, and other common grocery store items. Best of all, the acai berry is the most important food used with the acai berry diet. With the highest antioxidant concentration of any known food, the acai berry is now known as the most important superfood for a maintaining proper health.

Most people who use the acai berry diet report the following healthy effects:

How’s it goin’!

This is a letter from your ol’ pal, belly fat. We had a great run
this summer, didn’t we? Lots of good times, great food, and plain
ol’ sitting around eating too much.

Well, I’m thinking about sticking around another year if you don’t
mind. But you might need to get a bigger pair of pants, as I was
thinking about expanding my place down here.

So do me a favor, avoid that interval training you were thinking of
doing. The last time you did that stuff, I nearly had to look for a
new place to live. I felt like the Wicked Witch of the West in the
land of Oz. Did you hear me yelling, “Help me, I’m melting!”?

Instead, stick to that slow cardio stuff. Sure I get a little
sweaty, and the ol’ brain up there thinks it’s doing “a real fat
burning workout”, but it’s never enough to melt me outta here.

Another thing, keep listening to those experts who say strength
training doesn’t burn body fat. Since research shows they’re wrong,
if you added strength training to your program, you’d practically
need to throw me a going away party!

After each one of those superset workouts you tried last January
it felt like someone lit a match under our collective butt. I was
burning up down here!

But boy oh boy, I sure was glad you gave that up and went back to
just lifting utensils and not dumbbells. Otherwise we wouldn’t have
been able to celebrate another summer together this year.

Sometimes I wonder, what did you ever do in college without me, your
trusted belly fat? Back then, you were probably one of those people that
couldn’t wait to get to the beach to show off your body, not like these days.

Nope, stay in the shade and keep the cover-up clothes on, that’s the way to
go now. Besides, its a lot closer to the cold beer and the BBQ when you’re
sitting in the shade avoiding all the fun down on the beach.

Well it sure was good catching up with you. I’m sure we’ll be in touch
more often, as long as you stay away from that Turbulence Training
workout routine.

Brings a tear to my eye whenever I even think about that workout
program and all the belly fat it’s burned. Heck, it’s fried more
fat than a cook at a greasy breakfast diner.

So again, if you want to keep your dear old belly around for
another year and another summer, don’t use Turbulence Training -
otherwise, its all over pal, and you’ll never see me again.

Belly Fat says, “Don’t use this”

==> http://www.turbulencetraining.comYour friend and spare tire,

Belly Fat

PS – Seriously, don’t go near that Turbulence Training program
unless you want to see me, Thunder Thighs, Manboobs, Jigg Lee
Arm Fat, and Luv Handles pack our bags and hit the highway.

It will be a sad farewell, and you’d be stuck with ripped abs,
gorgeous glutes, and toned arms, and you know how much attention
those guys get from the opposite sex. Who needs it, I say.

PPS – Don’t do what this guy and gal did. They used Turbulence
Training
and look what happened to their belly fat. Now please go
get me some more comfort food…

“Hi Craig – First, I LOVE your program. In just under two weeks, I
have already started seeing definition – that has been my goal for
as long as I have been working out (a LONG time). Keep up the GREAT
work, and thanks!”

“I lost 14 pounds this month and the weight is just falling off me.
My wife says I now look like when we first met and I still have
more to go. I can fit into my old jeans again which is a big deal
for me. I just cut back on starches and bread and do your routine
2-3 times a week. I never thought in a million years that just
10-20 minutes of weight training followed by some cardio would get
me such steady results. I even cheat a bit on the weekends.”

Do you have questions about Turbulence Training? How it works?
What’s in the workouts? Or even what does it mean? Recently, Craig
Ballantyne was interrogated about his Turbulence Training system. Here are
the answers to your questions…

Q: First, can you tell us the basics about Turbulence Training?

Answer:
Turbulence Training is the result of years of study in the gym and
in the research labs and library. From personal experience, I’ve
found the best way to lose fat and get results in the least amount of
time is to increase your training intensity.

With the right workout, you can get more fat loss results in less
workout time. Period. That is the one and only goal of this
training program. A better body in fewer workout sessions, and
shorter exercise bouts.

That means:
a) Shorter interval workouts instead of long slow cardio workouts

b) More challenging strength training exercises, such as advanced
bodyweight exercises and some traditional strength training free
weight exercises

If you have two hours to spend in the gym everyday, you can feel
free to stick to the same relatively ineffective and inefficient
program of long cardio and light weights. But if you are like most
men and women and have 45 minutes (or less) on only three days of
the week to workout, then Turbulence Training will work wonders for
you.

Male or female, almost everyone I see in traditional fitness centers
could benefit from increasing the challenge in their workout. And
they can also benefit from getting in and out of the gym faster.

So that’s what led me to Turbulence Training. It’s simple, no B.S.,
no-fluff, just-the-basics, results-oriented training. You don’t
need fancy gym machines or even an expensive gym membership. If you
have a bench, a ball and some dumbbells at home, you are set.

Q: Okay so it’s a training program that will melt body fat fast,
but what makes it so effective?

Answer:
Most people are so darn hung-up on burning a specific number of
calories on a cardio machine, that they don’t care how long they
spend in the gym.

But big deal. If you burn X calories over 30 minutes in the gym
doing cardio, but don’t boost your post-exercise metabolism, you’re
wasting the other 23.5 hours to burn a lot more calories.

That’s what happens with slow, steady workouts that never change.
Sure you burn a few calories in the gym, but there is no “turbulence”
on the body to increase your metabolism outside of the gym.

Instead, by using challenging strength training, and choosing
intervals over monotonous cardio, research has shown that your post
workout metabolism is significantly greater. And an increased
metabolism for an entire 24 hour period is what gives people
results.

It’s like putting money in the bank. It makes you more money even
while you sit at home or sleep! That’s the power of a more
challenging workout.

And Turbulence Training workouts, and other “challenging” workouts
are always exponentially more enjoyable than staring at a TV (or
worse a wall) when “doing your time” on a cardio machine. You can
get this great “metabolic turbulence” in a boot camp, with
bodyweight, at home with dumbbells, or even in a busy gym.

Nothing is more effective than Turbulence Training if you only have
45 minutes, three times per week to workout.

=> http://www.turbulencetraining.com/Q: Can you explain why resistance training and bodyweight exercises are
so effective for fat loss?

Answer:
Strength training is just one key for fat loss, it is essential to
maximize your metabolism, and it is absolutely, positively
paramount to building the best body of your dreams.

For those that doubt, start with bodyweight training. Not only is
this method of strength training effective at helping you sculpt
your body, but it is also empowering to your self-confidence and
100% applicable to your daily living.

Everything from carrying groceries to “seks” will be easier if you
are stronger in the bodyweight exercises. Your mobility and stamina
will increase, so that you will be able to carry your children to
bed easier, you will be able to do yardwork with less fatigue, and
you’ll literally improve your “zest for life” simply from mastering
your bodyweight strength.

All of these benefits without touching a single free weight…but
if you do go with free weights, you’ll take your fitness to an even
greater level.

Research from the 2001 meeting of the American College of Sports
Medicine showed that female subjects boosted their post-exercise
metabolism to a greater level when they did 8 reps per exercise,
rather than 12 reps.

So low rep, strength training is best for boosting metabolism. It
will get you more results in less time because it will continue to
work while you recover. Train hard & train safe!

Sincerely,

Craig Ballantyne, CSCS, MS

say that it’s the best and most efficient approach to improving
body composition that I’ve come across.”

Are weight loss success stories really true? Many of them are and then there are the ones which you know are outright lies. These stand out on the fly by night diet plans and pills. They show a picture of a gorgeous bikini clad blonde standing by a before picture of 350 pounds and tell you they did this in 10 days. Yeah, right!

However, a real weight loss story can save someone’s life. Frankly, that’s not an exaggeration; it is a statement of fact. Your on personal story about shedding all that extra weight and how you did it; can inspire someone to lose the weight that is killing them.

Weight Loss Success…Click Here

Weight loss success stories are everywhere. If you go on any weight loss forum, blog or web site you are bound to find stories of people who have successfully lost weight. Many of these people have made huge sacrifices and life changes to achieve their goal. Most also post progress photos of themselves which is extremely inspiring to you if you are just starting your weight loss journey.

When reading weight loss success stories it is simple to become inspired. The next step then is to take action! By starting your new diet plan today you are taking a step toward your ultimate goal of achieving your desired weight. It is vital to keep in mind that you won’t achieve your target weight tomorrow, next week or next month but everyday that you stick to your plan, you are one day closer to your target!

You’ll find many weight loss success stories if you join a program like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. These companies love to tell the world about their successful clients, no doubt to make themselves look great but also to inspire everyday people to reach their goals.

Even celebrities have weight loss success stories to tell. Just look at Oprah Winfrey, Dan Marino and Kirstie Alley. All of these people have lost considerable weight and (generally) kept it off. And they did it the healthy way, not with unsustainable crash diets. Kirstie Alley now even stars in commercials for Jenny Craig!

Weight Loss Review…FREE Book

You might not think it is possible to become a weight loss success story yourself, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Absolutely anyone can achieve their weight loss goals, regardless of how much you weigh now. People have regained control of their life from all sorts of difficult circumstances, including weighing several hundred pounds! So there is no reason why you can’t follow on their footsteps.

Although every person achieves weight loss differently, they all have one thing in common; they had the will and motivation to continue their diet and exercise plan day after day. Sure there may have been a few days here and there that they let it lapse but overall they stuck to their guns and knew that it would be well worth the minor compromises.

Reading about weight loss success stories is fun and inspiring. Just remember that you’ll have to take action just like these people if you are to achieve your target weight. Now is the time for you to help save a life. Your own and others.

Did you read the latest headline or here the latest TV commercial on weight loss? Surely, you know now you can lose 5 pounds overnight and still eat everything you want to and never gain it back? No exercise needed just take this little miracle pill and the pounds will drop right off? You and over 40% of the adult population, which is overweight, have heard this dribble, so many times; you don’t believe a word of it. Now get ready for weight loss information you can believe. This article is going to give you righteous, weight loss tips free.

Foods That Fight Abdominal Fat

Think about this for a minute. It may not be your fault that you are over weight. That’s right! You may be carrying the extra weight because of genetics. In other words, if your family tree shows overweight people in it, you may well have inherited the same fat gene. But, there is always a but; you may have contributed to the problem by not eating right and living a sedate lifestyle.

Now, even though you may have inherited some of the problem, you have to take responsibility for having added to the problem. Once you accept the responsibility, it will be much easier for you to make the decision that things have to change. Not only do you have to lose weight but that you have to change your lifestyle. Failure is not an option because it can result in you cutting years off your life.

Your second weight loss tips free is to talk with your personal doctor, to make sure you don’t have an illness, which is causing you to be overweight. At the same time your physician will tell you if you’re physically fit to begin a weight loss plan. In addition he will be able to advise you on setting realistic goals for shedding those pounds.

Exercises and Meal Plans

It is important for you to set your goals so they are obtainable. They must be set high enough to be a challenge, but yet low enough so you don’t get discouraged quickly. If your doctor tells you to lose 50 pounds, you need to break those 50 lbs down into bite size chunks. (Pun intended)

An example of doing this would be to set a long term goal of losing the 50 pounds over a six month time frame. You can break this down into a smaller goal of only 8 lbs a month. Then you can take it down even further to two pounds a week. It appears now you have a workable goal.

Editorial Comment…This review landed on my desk last week. It is from a friend of mine, he is in fact a weight training enthus iest. I found it to be very interesting for anyone working on losing weight and especialy interesting for those of us on a vegetarian diet….

I hope you like it..

www.EasyVeggieMealPlans.com

“You won’t get enough protein on a vegetarian diet”, or so they say.  Well, I tested that theory out first hand.  You see, I am a weight training enthusiast and for the longest time I subscribed to the pro-meat eating ideology.  In fact, my friends often made fun of me for all my protein shakes and chicken breasts that I would regularly consume like clockwork.

Well that all changed when one day I took a bite out of a raw hamburger and became so violently ill that once I finally managed to recover I was so turned off by meat that I began searching for a healthy vegetarian diet solution.

The problem, however, was in finding vegetarian meals that met my stringent criteria; healthy, protein-filled, easy to prepare, and most importantly tasty.

I’m not sure what your experience has been with vegetarians, but I’ve come across many in my time and a large number of them don’t have the body type that I would categorize as fit.

So, when I finally came across Kardena Pauza’s Easy Veggie Meal Plans, my interest was definitely peaked.  Everything that I was looking for in a vegetarian diet she had put together in a 90 day program.  I had to try it.

I would be lying, however, if I didn’t admit that I was a little nervous about having a shortage of protein in my diet.  After all, protein is the staple of any weight trainer’s diet, right?

But, I was totally shocked.  After 30 days on Easy Veggie Meal Plans I noticed that I had so much more energy, making my workouts that much more effective.  But, perhaps the most valuable lesson I learned was just how much protein you actually need in your diet.  I read Pauza’s theory regarding protein consumption and then I went out and proved it.

So, I discovered that I didn’t need as much protein in my diet and I was feeling more alert and vibrant, but what about meal preparation? Because if the meals outlined in the Easy Veggie Meal Plans were going to take forever to prepare, then they just weren’t going to fit in with my lifestyle.

Well, to my surprise, a majority of the meals I could easily make in about ten to fifteen minutes. As busy as I am, I’ve got 15 minutes to put together a meal, and these aren’t just your regular “fast food” meals.  They are deliciously protein-packed, nutrient-rich meals.  I was on to something here.

Another Thing I Liked:

It’s not uncommon when switching over to a vegetarian diet to run into people who are misinformed about this type of lifestyle.  So, scepticism and veggie diet bashing are fairly prevalent, but as a bonus Pauza includes a “Defend Your Diet” coaching call where she explains how to fend off the veggie haters of the world.  This was the perfect compliment to the program because now I could confidently and informatively educate my friends and family.  Who knows, maybe even convert them!

So there you have it.  If you’re looking for a deliciously healthy, protein-filled, and easy-to-prepare vegetarian option, then pick up a copy of Kardena Pauza’s Easy Veggie Meal Plans.  Your body will thank you!

My friend and fitness pro Jon Benson sent me this newsletter today.

Really opened my eyes to how important it is to train SHORT but HARD.

Parsimony.

Know what it means?

Don’t feel bad if you don’t… I had to look it up myself as my understanding of the word was not that complete…

… glad I did. It was made for this newsletter.

And it will make your workouts easier by making them shorter.

     “Parsimony:
      Thrift and economy of operation;
The least motion rendering the highest benefit.”

Now we’re talking.

My long-time fitness hero, Frank Zane, wrote a great article on parsimony. He states the following:

“…you should experience maximum gains from
      the least amount of training.”

Sounds ideal if you ask me.

He goes on…

“Parsimony… means you train less frequently
but harder…. progress occurs when you train
      hard then rest deeply.”

This workout is the BEST example of parsimony I’ve ever seen…

The idea behind this style of training, called “HDT” (Hyper-Density Training) is to get the most energy out of your body AND mind and channel that energy into 7-14 minutes of intense but joint-friendly workouts….

This is followed by 9 minutes of GXP Cardio, a method developed and university-tested by Dr. Richard Winett.

I just received this by Facebook the other day…

     “HDT (7 Minute Muscle/Body) ROCKS!”
Jon lovin the books! I’ve been a fan of the
“short n sweet” workout since Arthur Jones
      dropped the Nautilus Bodybuilding book…
But you’ve really broken it down with a
      practical understanding for true continued
[progress]. Thanks in advance for all the
      future articles and results!”
      — Craig Dahl (unsolicited testimonial #1,210)

Short and sweet is where it’s at. Too many folks waste time needlessly in the gym.

From too many exercises to too much cardio… to heaven forbid talking on the cell phone while performing leg extensions (just saw that the other day!) many folks are expert time-wasters.

I bet you’re not… or at least you don’t want to be.

If that’s the case, go here:

http://www.7minutemuscle.com/go/saintly   <—click.here

But HURRY:  Come Monday the pricing is going to change due to the publishing house that just purchased rights to sell my book…

Should have been Wednesday, but I was stuck in traffic, so I have a bit longer to offer my 7 Minute Workout System to you at half-price <— !

P.S.  A few days ago I had one of my most effective chest workouts ever… in 7 minutes flat (after 1 warm-up set.)

I usually do the 14-minute Phase 2 protocol, which I do suggest for advanced trainees, but I was in a big hurry so I had to crunch it down to 7 minutes.

I may just stay there!  I was shocked at how my body reacted to this:

KNOWING I had only 7 minutes before I ever even entered the gym… and KNOWING EXACTLY what to do during those 7 minutes.

That kind of hyper-density focus is absolutely unreal.

You should experience this yourself…

And you can today, without a shred of risk….

If you have been searching for some quick weight loss methods, but have been unable to find any thing for you, then perhaps you will find something in this article that will help you find something for you. There are a variety of different ways to lose weight, from dieting to exercising to using dietary supplements. By looking at your different options, you can determine which quick weight loss method is right for you.

The most tried and true method of losing weight is diet and exercising. By finding a well-balanced diet for you and exercising on a regular basis, you can help ensure that your body stays in top shape, as well as helping to reduce your overall weight. By eating right and exercising, you help your body stay healthy, making sure it is able to burn all of the fat that it needs to in order to operate well. Drinking cold water helps your body to burn off fat because your body has to work harder to raise your temperature back up.

Another type of method for losing weight is by using dietary supplements. These supplements aim towards helping lower weight gain by a variety of methods. Some of these supplements work by decreasing your appetite, while others work by increasing the number of calories that your body burns. A combination of dietary supplements might provide you with the best weight loss methods, and combining these supplements with exercising and dieting can help to ensure you lose the maximum amount of weight you can.

If you are looking for more powerful methods of weight loss, then the over-the-counter weight-loss drug known as Alli may be what you are looking for. This is the highest strength weight loss drug that you can buy that does not require a prescription. If you are unable to find the weight loss that you need from other methods, then this drug may be exactly what you are looking for. Remember, dieting and exercise can help go a long way, even when using weight-loss drugs.

For those with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or above, prescription strength weight-loss drugs may be the way to go. These drugs are extremely powerful weight loss methods and should not be used by anyone that does not truly need them. If you are seeking to lose a couple of pounds, the other methods mentioned will be more than sufficient in your goal. But for those seeking to truly turn their life around and get back on a healthier track, then these drugs can be the gift you have been looking for.

So search for the variety of different methods which will fit your lifestyle and needs best. If you are looking for a quick method to lose weight, then a combination of these methods can help to ensure that you lose the weight you want. With these quick weight loss methods, you are sure to reach your ideal weight.

Editor’s Note:  This is a fantastic article (actually an exerpt) from “Every Other Day Dietplan” author Jon Benson. It deals with myths, excuses, and mindset when it comes to shedding bodyfat. It’s a total eye-opener… very surprising in places.

Fatloss Myths Exposed
by Jon Benson
Author, “The Every Other Day Dietplan”
http://www.everyotherdaydiet.com/go/saintly

There are many myths around fatloss and even obesity. One of the most popular is that obese people simply eat too much. In most cases this is true. In some cases however obese individuals do not consume more food than people whose body weight is considered normal. Some eat so little that their metabolic rate slows down and starts the fat storage cycle in the body. There are also a series of hormonal and psychological factors that create conditions that lead to obesity and weight gain.

Many people carry too much body fat without being clinically obese. These individuals may not even be overweight. I have measured the body fat of models who were rail thin yet had body fat readings over thirty percent. Many of these individuals claim to have healthy dietplans and participate in vigorous exercise, but their bodies to betray their beliefs.

If you are overweight, chances are great that you can manage the condition. Even with strong genetics toward excess fat storage, obesity in over ninety-five percent of obesity can be reversed with relatively simple lifestyle changes. Rarely is surgery or drugs a necessary alternative. Even when such an extreme is called for, lifestyle changes are still mandatory for long-term health and weight management.

New Rules

The book “Fight Club”, which was made into a movie in 1999, had an interesting way of banishing the half-hearted from their rather extreme but effective clique. One of the principle characters, Tyler Durden, offered the group a simple list of rules to follow. You were either in or out–there was no middle ground. I thought it would be humorous to share his do or die rules with you:

1. You don’t ask questions.
2. You don’t ask questions. (repeated twice for emphasis)
3. No excuses.
4. No lies.
5. You have to trust Tyler.

Are you glad my name is not Tyler?

All kidding aside, the rules above have a bit of animal wisdom within them. While I am not advising you to cease asking questions (in fact, I advise the opposite when it comes to achieving life-long motivation), I am asking you to stop driving yourself crazy looking for the ideal dietplan and start applying practical guidelines like I will cover in The Every Other Day Dietplan. We all want that secret plan or magic pill that will end our weight loss woes. I will save you the suspense and tell you what you probably already know–it does not exist.

There is information that you currently do not know. Once revealed, that information can appear to have been a “secret”. In reality, a secret is just something you did not know a few seconds before it was revealed to you. Using that definition, you are about to learn many secrets. Some of them will go against conventional wisdom. I am asking for your open-minded consideration, and for you not to talk yourself out of beginning something new out of analysis paralysis.

If you do nothing but search and ask, you will never find and apply.

When folks pick up my book “The Every Other Day Dietplan”, I ask them to do one thing, first and foremost: Apply the principles. Do not just read it. I want you to do as Judge Reinhold’s character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High suggested–”Learn it. Know it. Live it.”

As for the “no excuses” and “no lies” bit, I think that stands on its own. We have made too many excuses in the past. We have lied to ourselves about our true desires as well. Think about it. Do you really “love” pizza…or do you love your family?

The small lies we tell ourselves can radically affect our subconscious mind. The subconscious knows no distinction between fact and fiction. The last thing you want to do is continually deceive yourself with seemingly innocent slang. You do not love pizza. You may enjoy pizza, for sure, but you cannot love it. Your subconscious can actually begin to respond to “loving pizza” and increase your craving for it (or any food) via the association it already has to the word “love”. After all, it is only natural to crave more of what we continually tell our minds we love.

Can you see the potential danger in self-deception, even when it appears innocent on the surface?

Likewise, you do not hate yourself. You are probably much like me. I hated my condition, but I loved myself enough to want to change it. I did not have my self. Doesn’t this sound more like the truth to you?

Try saying this out-loud:

“I love myself so much that I now demand a life of health, vitality, and leanness!”

That is the truth! That is what you really want. No more lies and no more excuses. They just fuel the fires that burn in troubled hills.

As far as trust is concerned, all I ask is that you trust that little voice inside. This is the voice of reason that can often be muted by the noise of our daily lives and our pre-programmed answers that are more denial than fact. You can trust that I have been where you are and have helped thousands get to where you want to go. But I do not know all the answers. No one does.

What I do know is how to help you discover the answers that work best for you. Using the guidelines within this book, you can find most, if not all of those answers. You can put an end to the excuses and the self-deception.

You can start to enjoy life again. And, you can start today.

Seeking tips for weight-loss for teens? Today’s world puts a great deal of extra pressure on teens to appear thin. Popular Television shows aimed at teens all feature thin, pretty young characters, overbearing parents can put undue stress on their kids to shed weight, and even worse still, is teenagers peers can be incredibly judgmental of a how much they weigh.

Being the “fat kid” throughout high school can be quite a recipe for life-long self-esteem problems. There’s no easy solution to this problem. Weight loss is tough, and all the added anxiety that accompany being a teen only makes matters worse. Gaining from a few of these pointers can help make the teenage experience less scary for overweight teens.

Probably the most important tips, especially for young girls, is to make sure that you recognize what a healthy person appears like. Plenty of girls and young women in the media are, at least appear, dangerously thin. The media may portray this as the ideal, but the truth is, it’s not a healthy lifestyle. Many young girls develop eating disorders trying to match the looks of ladies they see on television, and this can be a recipe for disaster.

Teenage boys can become victim to eating disorders, too – it’s not a problem exclusive to girls. It is not uncommon for several teens to look in the mirror and see only ugliness and fat, when in reality they’re a wonderfully healthy young person. In case you constantly feel severely depressed about your weight or your looks, you should seek the help of a psychologist. They will help you improve your own self-image and pursue weight-loss goals in a healthy manner.

Another in the list of tips for weight loss for teens is to remember that your body is growing through.  In your teen years, your body can undergo a number of changes that affect how you grow. For instance, you may hit a late growth spurt and gain a few inches in height, making your weight balance out across your frame. Puberty is a complicated time – if you know that you’re following a proper diet and exercise plan but aren’t seeing results, you might only have to wait until you’ve fully grown into your body.

Regardless of other factors, diet and exercise are always going to be an important factor in weight loss. Keep this in mind as you go throughout your school day, and think of ways to improve your health. If your school cafeteria only serves greasy, unhealthy foods, talk to your parents about bringing a healthier lunch every day. Make sure to participate in gym class, and if you can, get involved in extra-curricular sports, too.

Another factor that can be a great help in losing weight is enlisting the aid of your family. In almost every case, your family wants to be healthy too, and they will help you out as best they can. If one of your parents is the primary family cook, talk to them about healthier options for food. Furthermore you can offer to help your parents with renovations or yard work for a little extra exercise.
